2 · Sign in with Twitch

Standard Twitch OAuth in your own browser. Your follows appear in the sidebar with live indicators and viewer counts.

3 · Pick a layout

Solo, 2-up, 1+2, 2×2, or 1+3. Drag any divider to resize. Your last layout persists across launches.

4 · Fill the grid

Click channels to drop them into panes. Number keys swap audio, C toggles chat, ⌘S records the focused pane.

The alternatives

There are three ways to multistream Twitch. Two of them fight your browser.

Browser tabs

Free and obvious, but every tab runs Twitch's full web player. Audio is whichever tab you clicked last, layouts are whatever your window manager allows, and the fans spin up fast.

Multistream websites

multitwitch-style sites tile several web players in one tab. Better than raw tabs, but still web-player overhead per stream, awkward chat switching, and no recording or per-pane quality.

A native multistream app

StreamRift plays raw HLS in native video elements with GPU decode - four streams for less than four tabs' overhead, plus per-pane audio, full chat, recording, and keyboard control.

How do I watch multiple Twitch streams at once?
Download StreamRift (free, macOS and Windows), sign in with Twitch, pick a grid layout, and add up to four channels from your follows or search. Each pane is an independent player with its own audio, quality, and chat.
How many Twitch streams can I watch at the same time?
Up to four in StreamRift - a deliberate cap. Past four, the grid gets cramped and your attention (and GPU) stops keeping up. Five layouts cover the useful arrangements: solo, side-by-side, 1+2, 2×2, and 1+3.
What about multitwitch-style websites?
Sites like multitwitch.tv embed several copies of Twitch's web player in one browser tab. They work for a quick check, but each embedded player carries full web overhead, audio control is clunky, chat means juggling iframes, and there's no recording or per-stream quality control. A native multistream app does all of that with less CPU.
Can I control audio for each stream separately?
Yes - every pane has independent volume and mute, and the number keys (1-4) hot-swap which stream you're listening to. One stream hits an ad break? Tap the next number and keep listening.
Won't four streams melt my computer?
It's lighter than four browser tabs. StreamRift plays the raw HLS streams in native video elements with GPU decode - no web player, no browser chrome. You can also drop side streams to 480p while the main stays at 1080p60.
Can I mix Twitch and Kick streams in one grid?
Yes. StreamRift is a Twitch and Kick client - sign in with either (or both) and put channels from both platforms side by side in the same multiview, each with its own chat.
