Multiview

Five layouts. One mission: see it all.

One streamer front and center, four tiled, or a hero-plus-sidecar for a main channel with three bracket pools on deck. Drag to reorder, swap in a click, resize with a handle - like a real production desk.

  • Independent audio per pane. Mute three, listen to one, or keep them all on if you like chaos.
  • Hot-swap audio with 1-4. Tap a number, your ear jumps to that pane. Stream 1 hits an ad? Hit 2 and keep listening.
  • Resizable panels. Not fixed grids - drag dividers to give the main stream the room it deserves.

Punt the whole grid onto monitor two.

One click sends your entire multi-stream view to its own window. Always-on-top, frameless, sized however you like. Keep the chat on your main screen; let the action live on the side monitor.

  • Independent window state. Resize, reposition, fullscreen the pop-out without touching your main app.

Answers to the six questions you're about to ask.

Will this get me banned?
StreamRift uses standard Twitch OAuth and only reads the same streams Twitch serves anyone with a browser. We don't modify, rehost, or clip without consent - it's a better player, not a workaround.
How many streams can I actually watch at once?
Four. We cap it there because past four the grid gets cramped, your GPU starts sweating, and honestly - you can't really pay attention to more than four streamers. Science.
What actions sync to Twitch and what don't?
Live actions go to Twitch through their official API: sending chat messages, whispers, mod actions (timeouts, bans, chat-mode changes), and blocking users. Follows and unfollows do not sync to Twitch - Twitch closed that API to apps back in 2023, so StreamRift keeps its own follow list bound to your StreamRift account. Everything else - grid layout, keybinds, theme, watch history, pinned channels, chat filters, recording settings - stays local.
Can I subscribe or spend bits from inside the app?
Not yet. StreamRift handles watching, chat, follows, and mod tools - for subs, gift subs, and bits you'll still need to hop over to twitch.tv. We're not trying to be a wallet, just a better player.
Do channels I'm subbed to still show the ad placeholder?
StreamRift plays Twitch's stream as-is - we don't inject ads, and we don't try to strip them either. Ad behavior follows your Twitch account, so subbed channels behave the same way they do on twitch.tv.
Do my settings carry from computer to computer - and from Mac to Windows?
Yes. Your preferences and custom follows sync through your StreamRift account, so signing in on a new machine pulls them down. Mac and Windows builds share the same data format, so jumping between platforms works the same as jumping between two Macs.
